“In the first 100 days of his presidency, the Trump administration has pursued a shock and awe rollout of anti-immigrant policies and executive orders to overwhelm and embed fear into the American people. The Trump playbook relies heavily on racist rhetoric to demonize immigrants in an attempt to further the administration’s white supremacist agenda.
However, a thriving resistance is pushing back against every part of Trump’s hate-fueled attack on immigrants and people of color. We reject racism and the separation of families. We believe every person has the right to move and live freely with dignity and without fear. The movement for immigrant rights and racial justice is growing, united and stronger than ever before. We stand resolute in the fight to make our vision of inclusivity, dignity and freedom a reality.”
