FOR THE PRAYER VIGIL IN SUPPORT OF IMMIGRANTS DETAINED AT THE MONMOUTH COUNTY CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION
· Religious leaders and community members are coming together to express concerns about detention conditions of immigrants at Monmouth County Correctional Institution and in New Jersey County Jails that hold immigrants.
· We will be calling for a “community accountability board” as a mechanism to provide meaningful oversight that is needed for safe and humane conditions in New Jersey immigration detention facilities.
